Bio: 

Paul Musgrave is associate professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He studies U.S. foreign policy, international relations theory, and how the two intersect. His research has appeared in International Organization, International Studies QuarterlyComparative Political StudiesAmerican Politics Review, and International Theory. He has written for The Washington Post, Foreign Policy, Slate, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and other outlets. During 2019-2020, he was an American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow. He holds a Ph.D. in Government with a focus on International Relations from Georgetown University.
