Peer Advisors

Victoria Bones

Victoria is a senior and a legal studies and political science double major. Her internships have focused around the legal field, and this summer she worked with immigration law and council. She aspires to go to law school one day and pursue a future of legal activism. She loves to walk around campus, and one of her spots is the greenhouse by Frank dining commons. Victoria loves animals and at home has four dogs, 3 cats and two guinea pigs. She has been a peer advisor for 2 years now and loves working in Thompson.

Amanda Melo-Nieves

I am a first-generation Latina in the Legal Studies major with a minor in Psychology and a Letter of Specialization in Constitutional Law. I am a senior who will be graduating in the Spring of 2022. I was born in Puerto Rico but grew up on the Northshore of Massachusetts in Lynn. Fairness and equality for all matters a lot to me, which is why I plan to pursue a career in law. I specifically want to work in Women’s Rights and Domestic Violence representing people who need it the most. Some of my hobbies include nail art, jewelry making, yoga, astrology, and stocks. I believe that art and meditation heal the soul as well as kindness.

Francesca Galazzi

Hi! My name is Francesca Galazzi, I am a senior studying Political Science and Spanish in the Honors College. Additionally, this fall I started my Master of Public Policy through the School of Public Policy’s 4+1 Program. I am interested in political theory, public policy (specifically technology policy), philanthropy, and strategic consulting. On campus, I have been a Peer Advisor for the Department of Political Science and Legal Studies for two years; I am a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences; and I am the Vice President of 180 Degrees Consulting, a student run consulting firm that provides services to local nonprofits so that they can maximize their impact. I hope to see you in advising!
