Jon Western, Five College associate professor of international relations and Peter Haas, professor of political science, have received a grant from Five Colleges, Incorporated to examine issues surrounding global leadership in an increasingly complex world. 

"A New America in A New World: Preparing for the Global Challenges" will bring eight scholars-in-residence to the Five College campuses over the next two years. These scholars-in-residence will present research at seminars and workshops, meet with graduate and undergraduate students, and generally contribute to the development of new undergraduate curriculua related to international relations.
