PhD candidate Melinda Tarsi has been named a Fellow with the Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society (IUS-AFS).
IUS-AFS is a forum for the interchange and assessment of research and scholarship in the social and behavioral sciences dealing with the military establishment and civil-military relations.
Tarsi, whose research explores the evolution of veterans' education benefits in the post-World War II era, joins an exceptional and interdisciplinary group of fellows from around the world that includes other academics, military officers, researchers, and students representing a variety of private and public institutions.
