The Department of Political Science at UMass Amherst seeks an adjunct lecturer to teach courses in its undergraduate program during the Spring 2020 semester. The incumbent will teach a large section of American Foreign Policy as well as one additional class focusing on international relations or comparative politics.  Managing Teaching Assistants assigned to the classes and/or other service may be required.  Doctorate degree preferred; ABD will also be considered.  The candidate should have appropriate academic and professional qualifications, prior teaching experience (preferably in American foreign policy), and a research focus in international relations. Compensation will be based on experience and will be in line with UMass Amherst undergraduate course compensation levels.
