Honors in Political Science

Admission

If you entered UMass Amherst before Fall Semester 2009, you are eligible to apply if you have: completed one full-time semester of 12 or more graded credits at UMass Amherst and earned overall and semester GPAs of 3.200 or higher at UMass Amherst.

If you entered UMass Amherst in Fall Semester 2009 or later, you are eligible to apply if you have completed one full-time semester of 12 or more graded credits at UMass Amherst and earned overall and semester GPAs of 3.400 or higher at UMass Amherst.

Options
Once admitted into Commonwealth College students have the choice of earning Departmental Honors or Multidisciplinary Honors. Each option has separate requirements so please refer to the provided links for a full listing of requirements.
