This research proposal aims to document nonprofit arts and culture organizations’ experiences with COVID-19 federal emergency relief programs in order to critically assess program access and impacts on the sector. The project involves development and implementation of a survey of New York City arts and culture organizations in the fall semester with data analysis and interviews scheduled for winter session and spring 2021 semester. The research will be published in academic journals, public-oriented venues, and a report that will be disseminated widely. Students enrolling in UREP can expect to participate in building the mailing list and assisting with survey implementation.Read more
