Research

Research interests of our faculty range from the study of local elections and legislative behavior to international environmental politics and social movements.  Faculty research spans all the traditional sub-fields in political science, but the distinctive dimensions of our department are best viewed by examing the research clusters around which faculty research interests coalesce and the inter-subdisciplinary and interdisciplinary Workshops sponsored by the department.  These events attract faculty and graduate students from all subfields.
