Interests:

My research and teaching focus on laws and legal systems of countries around the world, especially Russia. My current research examines how law enforcement agencies (police and prosecutors) have implemented laws against human trafficking in Russia. More broadly I am interested in post-Soviet politics, comparative and international law, human rights and legal pluralism.
