Interests:

My research interests include political attitudes, identity formation, representation and participation.  I examine those issues through the politics of immigrant, ethnic, racial, and religious minorities, with a focus on Western Europe.

Education:
Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley

Courses Taught:
Government and Politics of Western Europe, Immigration in Comparative Perspective, Ethnic Diversity and Politics, Introduction to Comparative Politics

Current Projects:
I recently published two books. One is with Cambridge University Press and explores group-level integration variation among ethnic minority migrants in Britain and France. The second is with Lynne Rienner Publishers and is co-edited with Terri Givens. It explores recent political trends among racial minorities and migrants across Western Europe. In addition to these books, I have several works in progress about minority political attitudes, identification, and perceptions of discrimination.
