Five College Interchange

Through the Five College Interchange program, UMass Amherst undergraduates have the opportunity to enroll in an array of courses in the Five College Consortium which consists of: Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and UMass Amherst. Students may also access academic resources, facilities, libraries, as well as research, performance, and social opportunities across the five campuses. 

Cost: There is no additional fee to take classes through the consortium.

Transportation: PVTA buses provide free transportation between the five campuses.

Registration: Do not use SPIRE to register for classes on other campuses. Five College registration dates and enrollment process is different than traditional UMass classes.
