Hannahan receives Fulbright to Teach in Buenos Aires
Mike Hannahan, visiting scholar and Director of the Donahue Institute, has been awarded a Fulbright to teach American Politics at the University of San Andres in Buenos Aires from August 2011 through December 2011. While in Buenos Aires, Mike will also work with the Argentine Fulbright Commission and the University of Massachusetts to design and implement a course on American Studies. He will additionally deliver a two week course on American Politics and Elections to mid-career Argentine government officials.
Before departing for Buenos Aires, Mike will also travel to Iraq to develop memoranda of understanding with Iraqi Universities and UMass, and to visit Sulymaniah to interview protesters and Kurdish party officials.
