The Rewards and Challenges of Interdisciplinary Research
West 32 Machmer Hall
The Institute for Social Science Research will host their 1st Research in Process panel for this year, with three distinguished faculty who have distinct interdisciplinary experiences:
- Dr. Jane Fountain, Professor of Political Science and Public Policy and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science; Director of the National Center for Digital Government
- Dr. Krista Gile, Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics and Member of the UMass Computational Social Science Initiative
- Dr. Millie Thayer, Associate Professor of Sociology; Faculty Affiliate of CLACLS (Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies)
