This lecture, part of a broader Lecture Series entitled "On Protest", will be given by Jodi Dean, who is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. She has authored or edited eleven books. These include Democracy and Other Neoliberal Fantasies (Duke 2009), Blog Theory (Polity 2010), and The Communist Horizon (Verso 2012). She is the co-editor of the journal Theory & Event.
