On Thursday, September 15, 2016, Professor Jamal Greene, Dwight Professor of Law at Columbia Law School will present the 2016 Dean Alfange, Jr. distinguished lecture on American constitutionalism. Professor Greene is a leading expert in the fields of constitutional law, theories of constitutional interpretation, federal courts, and citizenship. He served as law clerk to Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens in 2006-07, and he is responsible for a number of publications across academic and media outlets. The lecture will be titled, "Rights as Trumps: A Reappraisal". The 2016 Dean Alfange, Jr. will begin at 4 PM in the Amherst Room of the Campus Center.
