Paul Musgrave interviewed by NYTimes about the scandal with Cambridge Analytica & Facebook

Paul Musgrave, political science, is one of several people interviewed about why they have deleted their Facebook accounts following the revelation that Cambridge Analytica in Great Britain improperly gained access to user information and used it during the 2016 political campaign. He says Facebook served as a “low-key, offstage networking tool” that allowed him to passively keep track of people and he worries leaving it will make it harder to keep track of friends who rely on Facebook for their networking.
