Graduate student Zack Albert has received a 2018 Dirksen Center Congressional Research Grant in support of his dissertation project entitled, "Policy Ideas and Advocacy in the Extended Party Network." His dissertation explores the influence of party-allied interest groups and think tanks in the provision of policy ideas and information. The Dirksen Grant, awarded on average to only 10 scholars per year, supports cutting edge research on congressional leadership in the U.S. Please join me in congratulating Zack on this fantastic achievement!
