Students, alumni and friends are invited to join the Department and the College of Social and Behavioral Science on November 5, 2011 as we honor Professor Emeritus Edwin Gere.  Prof. Gere will be presented with citations from state and federal legislators to recognize his outstanding service during the Berlin Airlift in World War II. 

The event will take place during Homecoming Weekend, November 5, in the Massachusetts Room in the Mullins Center on campus. Please check the events calendar for specific details.

To further honor Professor Gere, former student Steve Etkin has also established a scholarship in Gere's honor. You may contribute to this scholarship through the Department of Political Science.
