Charli Carpenter & Kevin Young write an analysis about public attitudes toward autonomous weapons

An analysis by Charli Carpenter and Kevin L. Young, political science, on public attitudes toward autonomous weapons, sometimes referred to as killer robots, says people who consume a lot of science fiction movies tend to oppose them, but the general public doesn't’t share that view. They say if the U.S. population is nervous about outsourcing kill decisions to machines, it probably isn’t because of science fiction movies about killer robots, but concerns with something else.
