Advising

Welcome to Legal Studies Advising!

The Legal Studies Advising Team partners with undergraduate students to develop a meaningful pathway through the major and to pursue enriching coursework and educational opportunities from admission to graduation.

Students are encouraged to connect with an advisor each semester to ensure comprehensive guidance and support student success. Feel free to make an appointment whenever you need guidance. There are many ways to see us and remember that we are here for course enrollment and so much more.

SUMMER 2024: Advisors work throughout the summer and look forward to meeting with you virtually.

  • Current students: Use Navigate to schedule a virtual appointment with any staff advisor.
  • New students: Advising appointments for new students will take place during New Student Orientation & Transitions (NSOT). In the meantime, please complete the NSOT New Student Checklist. We will email you to book your NSOT Academic Advising Appointment. Keep an eye on your UMass email!
