The Political Science Department is co-sponsoring The Resistance: Organizing in the Age of Trump. We are excited to bring Linda Sarsour, Co-chair of the Women’s March to campus. In addition to being one of the national co-chairs of the Women’s March, she is an award-winning, Brooklyn-born Palestinian-American-Muslim racial justice and civil rights activist, community organizer, social media maverick, and mother of three.

The term "Political Correctness" appears everywhere in contemporary conversation--about education, media, politics and technology. Donald Trump is its most prominent enemy. But what does it mean? In this talk, Moira Weigel (Comparative Literature | Yale University) excavates a genealogy of "political correctness," returning to the roots of the term and reflecting on its rising use.
