Join us for the first Library-sponsored “Author Talks” of the spring semester: Ilan Stavans of Amherst College will be giving a talk on "Trump and the English Language". He elaborates on this as follows: "The age of Trump is not only about a divided America but about a fractured syntax and an impoverished lexicon. Can we make English great again?"
Bio: Ilan Stavans is Lewis-Sebring Professor of Humanities, Latin American and Latino Culture at Amherst College, publisher of Restless Books, and host of the NEPR podcast "In Contrast."
