Data Visualization Assistant for Data Analytics and Computational Social Science (DACSS) Program

The Data Analytics and Computational Social Science program focuses on preparing students to work with data (collecting it, analyzing it, and presenting and communicating about it) to support businesses, non-profits, and government agencies in making evidence-based decisions.

We are looking for a Data Visualization Assistant, who will work under the supervision of Professor Meredith Rolfe (Political Science). The Data Visualization Assistant will develop charts, graphs, or other visuals to represent the results of student research. These visuals will be included in write-ups of student research that will be highlighted on the program website.

Specific tasks may include: - creating visualizations for a given data set - making updates to pre-existing visualizations - working with student researchers to ensure that the visualizations accurately reflect their results

Some experience in creating visual representations of information is required.
