Giving directly to the Department allows us to enhance the academic and extracurricular experience of undergraduates and graduate students alike.  Alumni gifts support research experiences for undergraduate students working with faculty; support for cutting-edge faculty research; support for undergraduate clubs and teams; host guest speakers and lecturers to address timely topics; undergraduate scholarships; support for internships domestically and internationally; support for graduate students to present research at conferences; promoting cross-departmental connections and activities; providing academic scholarships and internships to promising students; and myriad other activities in support of an active intellectual community.
