Graduate Student Small Grant Program
This program is designed to support doctoral students currently in their second year or higher with conference travel and summer research and training support.
Summer Research and Training Grants
Graduate Research Initiative Program
The objective of the Graduate Research Initiative Program (GRIP) is to provide modest amounts of competitively allocated research support to Ph.D. students pursuing research agendas that are closely related to the Intra-disciplinary Initiative, which emphasizes research across conventional subfields in political science. GRIP is intended to draw attention to the department’s approach to political science by sending out graduate students with well-polished conference presentation and journal article submissions on cutting-edge initiative topics.
All doctoral students are eligible to apply for the following Initiative activities for the 2012 and 2013 competitions:
